Spring Practice Report Sat Scrimmage....

Josh's athleticim and ball carrying ability was obvious last year. I have no idea why we didn't redshirt him though. If he is our guy, I hope he can stay healthy. Sounds like he is going to be taking a pounding, but I guess this is the nature of the QB position in this offense.

"Luke Cox ripped off about a 50 yard run today up the gut....very Navy looking."

Glad to see the second Cox getting some touches and making the most of them - even if it is practice.

Josh had some problems making the right reads (i.e. when to give it to the B-back, and when to take it and run/pitch) in the beginning, but by the end of the scrimmage he got it down pretty well.

Great report, I am glad to get this much detail and information. It doesn't seem like we had this much information in years past, or maybe there just wasn't much to talk about!?

Good to see that there is a large and growing croud watching the development at practice, shows growing excitement and interest. Thanks for putting this together and I am looking forward to the next one!

That is the least of my concerns at this point. That will come with time.

You only have to learn a system once. However, the absence of the more serious deficiency of not having the athletic ability to execute it is far more encouraging.
