Spurrier\'s effect on Richt....

I am surprised by all the praise that Richt receives. I think you can chart ugag's success more w/ David Greene than with Richt.

If SC beats Ugag the ~2nd game of the season the tarnish will wear off Richt VERY fast. Spurrier's successes will come at the expense of ugag.

Maybe the best thing to do is look and see how they compared in head to head meetings

Agreed. I know that many of us are not always happy with Chan, but it has become so comical with the mutt fans to start talking about coaching changes after losing to really good teams. If SC does beat them next year then I would expect that Richt will be under scrutiny by the majority of their fan base, although the people who pull the strings obviously aren't going to fire him just because they happen to have some non-sensical fans. Wouldn't that be something--Richt goes to a place where it is easy to recruit stars and is used to success and does well only to be outdone by Spurrier & SC who is known for being a consistent loser.

Why do you care that someone finds faults with ugag's coach? Isn't that what fans are supposed to do? Make fun of/take digs at their rivals?

After today I think we will be the joke for a long time coming so I sure to hell will not make fun of any other school now

Jeez, is sports. It's all about making fun of your rivals even if you have to make up reasons for it.

Would you assume both are easy or just Melissa?

If they meant Spurrier and SC were losers wouldn't they use 'are' instead of 'is'?

You guys are right .. My bad .... I like to talk smack as much as anyone but after the statement Braine made yesterday I felt ashamed to even think of smack talk

No, I wasn't implying that BOTH Spurrier and SC were consistent losers. If I had been then I would have said that to begin with. I was only talking about SC, which is why I said "who is" instead of "who are" and "loser" instead of "losers". Got it?
