According to Mon's Tech section in the AJC. Evidently that foot injury at the end of the BYU game was more serious than we thought. Heller has played more @ TE than Foshi has. While JP is traipsing around playing fullback, Will is still @ TE.
I sure hope Brian Lee, Darius Williams, George Cooper are ready. Lee played a good bit vs Van,UConn, but has seen only special teams the last 2 weeks. Williams has not played outside the very end of Vandy, UConn. Cooper is a Fr who has not seen the field & hopefully can rs.
One more injury @ TE & we could be in serious need at this position, also. With Foshi @ TE the FB position could see Dixon, Jackson or Johnson playing this weekend. Dixon MAY be more valuable this week @ FB rather than TB.

Possibly more bad news Tech fans...from what I've heard, Heller is out for potentially the remainder of the year with torn cartilage in his foot. Depending on whether he successfully appeals to the NCAA (because he played in the fourth game, making him ineligible to receive a medical redshirt) he may be unable to play another game in a Jackets uniform. I'm pretty good friends with Will and wish him a speedy recovery. I've heard that some NFL scouts were taking a good look at him to play at the next level.

That's just awful news & much worse than I anticipated. Heller & Foshi are far ahead of other TEs & this situation is approaching criticle.
Heller has not taken a rs yr & would stand a very good chance of the NCAA granting a med rs if he wants to play again next yr. If the pro scouts are giving him encouragement, then Heller may very well want to play again next season to see if he could get drafted.
Good luck, young Mr Heller, in whatever you decide to do. Thanks for being a Yellow Jacket these 4 yrs.
