State of GA. 2019 class

Kirby might not have a job in 2019 if we drop 3 in a row on top of him. Stupid article. "Lets assume every single elite player in the state chooses UGA." That never happens. Bama will get as many of these kids as UGA. Not to mention Auburn, Florida, FSU, Clemson, Tennessee, etc.

Why did the entire team take an unofficial visit to uGA?

Article made it sound like most of the people in charge of putting it together were UGA supporters (talked about "building a wall" around some of the kids).

Seriously though, same shit different season. I suppose it's possible that they could hit on a few classes that put them over the top, but they've had Top 10 recruiting classes for so many years that have fallen flat. Not to mention the absurdity of projecting not only how a 15 year old will be 3 years from now, but also where he'll be attending school. We have two certainties for the 2019 recruiting cycle:

1) UGA will be the better recruiting class
2) GT will have the better coach

Well, Bammer does have the money to pay for it.

Inappropriate contact from boosters?

So some shill for one of these all star games is predicting a national title for Georgia with the '19 class? Are they even going to be state champs?
I'm sure Mutt readers are eating this up as they're reading it (using their fingers across the lines of copy, of course). More stoking of that fire. Good. That will make the coming disappointment all that much more enjoyable to watch.

The buildup is awesome because it just makes the collapse even sweeter.

It's hard to even take that article seriously. It reads like a piece from The Onion.

They can go to prison for that.

Why not? Seems like if any of the organizers are uGA boosters (and it sounds like some are), then how is it not impermissible contact and a recruiting violation? And if they're providing the transportation or any item associated with the event (e.g. food, a jersey, equipment, or even a half-time juice box), then that's also a violation.

Seems like Kirby should lose some scholarships (which he would just waste, anyway).

I see one of them is transferring to IMG Academy down here in Bradenton. I really despise that school and what it stands for. I dont know why any real HS team bothers to play them?

You think we will have a different coach that quickly?
