The wife and I have been out and about in Douglas and Carroll Counties all evening. I love seeing all these bandwagon Dawg fans just cringing at the sight of two Tech sweatshirts. They are just dying to say something but no they have no legs to stand on. You can see them drawing up and their pitiful little minds going to work trying desperately to make a clever comeback to no avail. If they had tails like their canine counterparts, it would be tucked tightly 'tween their legs.

Damn it feels good to be a YELLOW JACKET!!!

What about an orange jacket?

Yep, I was walking tall this afternoon up here in Forsyth county wearing my GT hoodie and one of my GT hats. Noticed the brief glances from those wearing the red and black, nothing said.

Stopped into Publix on the way home and there were not one, but two vehicles proudly displaying their GT flags. 364 more days of this, then we'll knock heads with them at BDS and earn another 365.

I kept my flags on my car today and I got the finger from a truck in front of me with a UGAg hitch cover.

I ran to Ace Hardware for some things with TECH sweatshirt and hat on today. I was there for over an hour. I had a 'Bama fan and then a Gator fan stop me dying to talk about the game. They both loved every minute of it. Both also said they wished GT was in the SEC.

On the way to the game two different groups of Dawg fans yelled loudly as we walked by "NERDS. NERDS. NERDS."

After victory and on the way back to our tailgating I yelled "NERDS COMING THROUGH! NERDS COMING THROUGH!" Of course they could only muster a foul languaged response. We all just laughed.

And by the way, the Atlanta Airport was red and black less.

Spent about three hours in one of the big malls in Savannah this afternoon. On a normal day, you can't go 20 feet without seeing someone wearing some form of Dawg gear.

In those three hours, and in a pretty crowded mall, I saw exactly four UGA hats and one cute girl in a UGA sweatshirt. It's amazing how one game can completely change the dress habits of Georgia's leg humping populous.

Im actually excited for work tomorrow. Hell i may even go in early. Got a lot of smack to talk.

My 14 y/o boy and a few of his Tech buddies are going to have fun at Walton High tomorrow. They will be some $hit talking boys, I love it.

I went to Chili's for dinner with the family. The guy at the booth behind us was wearing a Georgia shirt, saw me, looked down and mumbled. I figured I'd let him finish his meal. He got up to leave and my dad actually beat me to it with "Go Tech!" and the guy didn't say a word.

When our waitress came to take our orders I ordered a "Georgia Bulldog Burger" before placing my actual order. Our check came with "Go Dawgs" written on the top, so I wrote "45 - 42" and circled it. After payment it returned with "At least we won 7 in a row on it." My dad asked if she could spell the word "Technology" (early we had been talking about why there's more Georgia shirts than Tech ones and he said it's because they can't spell "Technology") while I held up 8 fingers. I then informed her that we had the longest streak in history with 8 wins in a row.

She struggled and went "well tell me something that's happened in our lifetimes" and I said that if the past doesn't matter, neither does their 7 year streak and that "Hmmm, well let's see, we won YESTERDAY."

Glorious.

Glorious indeed. My only cringing thought in here is that she might have fouled your food. I hope you've had a flu shot.
:puke:

She was a Kennesaw State student and a fair weather dawg fan, the food wasn't tampered with as there was barely anything said pre-meal. It was all piled on after the check was delivered, though.

I'm glad to see a U[sic]GA grad have a job at Chilis.. :)

I was out and about in Douglasville as well and a gentleman looked at me while I was putting a lid on my drink and said, "How bout them Yellow Jackets!" I said "Go Jackets!" and he went on to say how much he hated seeing "Dog" stuff and it was about time Tech show their pride around the town. I walked away with a smile after yelling "What's the good word?"

I went to applebees in Rome with a friend last night and I thought we were going to get kicked out. Some UGAy fans were at the bar and made a few remarks our way, so my friend starts saying whats the good word and I obviously have to reply to that. This continued for a while every time they tried to put Tech down and eventually they complained to the manager. We told him we would only stop if they did and then asked him why he didnt say anything to them (he was wearing a Georgia shirt). Eventually he said something to them and they stopped, as did we but it sure did feel great.

I spoke with a UGA grad at Chilis as well, only in Statesboro. Funny how that works

I only wish BOR had some stories to tell. His Halloween stories are really funny.

No UGAg fans to speak of around here, but a Bama fan saw my shirt and stopped me in Barnes & Noble today and couldn't stop talking about the game, said what a great game Tech played and how much fun it was to watch. I tried to throw in some comments about what a great season the Tide is having, but he would have none of it - wanted to keep talking about our offense and the game.
