Visits this weekend.

Undefeated senior year.

Passing- 49 of 90 for 1,127 yds./14 td's/5 int's
Rushing- 170 carries for 1,751 yds. and 28 td's. (10.1 ypc)

Offered by VA, VT as a DB and is committed to VT. Navy had offered him as a QB.

He was offensive player of the year in VA I believe.

Yeah just read it in the AJC, fingers crossed on this one:fingersx:. Do you know what position he wants to play in college Hiver? If its QB we might have the edge.

As long as he didn't gamble on football. Oh come on, someone had to say it!

I can only assume he would prefer QB since he is committed to VT as a DB...we are recruiting him as a QB...and he is coming to visit this weekend.

Plus...this is a kid that went undefeated as a senior leading the offense. He obviously enjoys heading the charge.

Those are some pretty impressive numbers....I say we sign him up...

If your last name was Rose, why name your kid Pete for Pete's sake???

Until March 89, Pete was considered a hero (and pretty much the epitome of hustle) by most. There were some rumblings prior to then, but was all gossip. I can think of many worse names than Pete Rose to name a child in the late 80's.

"Offensive Player of the Year in Va" says it all to me! That's a pretty talent rich state.

Thanks for the info Hivered!

Which would you prefer qb or db? I havent looked at any tape yet but i will get around to that in a couple of days but his stats look good. And i love the fact that navy has offered
