It's not quite as bad as you guys are making it out to be.
Say, for instance, this scenario:
Us, UVA, Miami, and VT all end up with 2 conference losses.
Miami loses to us and VT, VT loses to us and FSU, UVA loses to Miami and VT, and we lose to UVA and BC.
This puts us in a 4 way tie for 1st place. Using the 1st tiebreaker we eliminate Miami and UVA because they are both 1-2 vs the field. This leaves only VT and us and since we beat VT we win the division.
Look at last year in the Atlantic division where there was a 4 way tie for first place. The way our division rivals' schedules play out I believe it is not out of the question we'll see 4 teams with 3 losses tied for first place. Even if we lose to Clemson we STILL have a shot as long as we beat VT and Miami.
All you guys saying the season is over are pathetic. There are a hundred different ways this season could play out. VT and Miami are the games we really need to win.
