The Stinger Mobile Pass is a new, flexible option for Georgia Tech Football fans!

I think the opportunity for some creativity was overlooked in phrasing the first sentence.

But, it is a most excellent idea. I'll include the suggestion to tStan that he return the AT credit for returned tickets (from season ticket holders) which will add a good number of desirable seats to the collection of tickets for the mobile pass tickets.

They did it for basketball last season and they sold out in a few hours. I was able to grab one and definitely went to more games than I otherwise would have.

It isn’t geared toward season ticket holders. You don’t get an assigned ticket. It is assigned to you when you get to the stadium.

Really you cant do worse than 223 and I never sit where I'm supposed to so this is a great bargain.

I wonder what sections are eligible. I also wonder how they calculated the number to make available? Maybe the average amount of unsold tix over 5 years +20%? Maybe unused tix?

It's aimed at a younger audience. Young Alumni just aren't buying season tickets to any sports, let alone us. This provides a very affordable option and also gives GT some flexibility on how they distribute audience within the stadium.
