We've got 16 candidates and only 10 spots in the poll, so Round 1 will consist of two polls with 8 coaches each. The 6 coaches receiving the fewest votes will get kicked and we'll move on to Round 2.

You can pick up to 5 coaches on each list

Whisenhunt has 5.9% of the vote. I hope our AD looks at StinGTalk

I hope our AD doesn’t base his decision on what he reads at Stingtalk.
Unless he just reads my opinion. :fingersx:

But I do think it could possibly be insightful to at least see who StinGTalk would like as a coach.

It seems that there is no obvious front runner candidate. I would have thought Venables would have been in the lead, but I guess not.

I didn't bother choosing Venables because it won't happen. We can barely top his current salary and his son just started at Clemson.

Because we needed 10 people on the list.
Why isn't this Buffalo coach on the list? The guy who won 100 of his first 106 games, I'm told?

Or how about that HS coach who never punts and always onside kicks? I bet he doesn't have a play sheet either.

Those guys are more likely than Holgerson.

Because he sucks. Wins against School for the blind don't count, and he has 3 dogshit seasons at Buffalo and 1 good one.

OK, I just googled him. He probably does need another year or two of seasoning to convince people he's built a winner rather than stumbled into a good season.

And I was joking when I previously wondered if he was at Mt. Union. He was actually at a DIII school, which is how he went 100-6 in his first 106 games. Still, that's a pretty impressive feat, at any level.
