First, welcome to Stingtalk.
We don't often open our registration, so we appreciate you joining us. If you have lurked in the past, you may know that things can get a little rough in here sometimes. Please do not take anything personally. We are all GT fans and we are here to have a good time.
That said, you will find Stingtalk is a little different than other message boards where members discuss things like a couple of old people sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch on a sunny day drinking mint julep. People here tend to get a little excited at times. Once again, do not take this personally. It's just Stingtalk's version of "tough love". Feel free to give it right back. We are all GT fans (mostly... there are a limited number of representatives from other schools we compete against).
We don't have a lot of rules here, basically you are good to go as long as you don't become a nuisance to lots of users. Here are a couple of hints of things that can get you into trouble here. Try to avoid:
1. Jumping from thread to thread spouting the same comment/opinion over and over (spamming)
2. Posting real life info of any user or threatening any user (violent or legal action)
3. Showing generally bad fellowship to other Stingtalkers (remember we are all GT fans)
What you should do:
1. Get an Avatar (the little pic above your name) Just click on your username up top and upload your avatar. Otherwise you will be forced to continue wearing Russell gear.
2. Participate (As you participate with posts, more of Stingtalk will unlock for you)
Thats pretty much everything. We are sure you will do fine. Welcome.
