Stingtalk Updates: Stage 2

We are now 2/3 of the way through our 2007 updates for Stingtalk.

Stage 1: VBulletin Software upgraded to 3.6.7
New features include:
-Multi-Quoting
-Improved Buddy/Ignore Interface
-Optional Receive private messages from buddys only
-Private message preview in notification e-mails
-New "Infraction" system for easier board "policing" :D
-Uploadable (picture) Signatures
-Lots more...

Stage 2: Stingtalk Chat real-time (more or less) monitoring of chatting users. A quick scroll down to the bottom of any message board page will show you to see any users currently chatting in the Stingtalk Chat room. This is updated every 5 minutes so it will be "more or less" accurate. This makes spontaneous chat sessions a little easier. No need to enter chat now just to see if anyone is there.

Stage 3: To be announced soon.

As always, we are grateful that you guys and gals choose to spend your time with us on Stingtalk and we are constantly striving to give you a little more than the "average" message board. Thanks again and Go Jackets!!!

Sounds great. One question though, are you going to limit the size of uploadable signatures? I've seen them get a little out of hand on some other forums.

The maximum size of your custom signature image is 400 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

If it presents a problem I will change it.
 
FYI, I don't know if this is a problem or not, but I'm not sure the new software is registering when we edit stuff. Like, you can edit fine, but after you do there's no "this post edited by ASDF on JKL;" message at the bottom.

At least I don't think there is.

Edit3: Test again
Edit4: Yeah, doesn't even show up when there's a response below it.

Might pose a problem if we get an argument troll who likes to swap his words around post-facto.

you are allowed 5 minutes to edit after posting to correct any mistakes.. after 5 minutes, the Edited by tag will appear.
 
Ahhh.

I like that. First time I've seen that in a forum engine before.
