food for thought-- isn't this odd that they could do the deal so swiftly and that stoops was already in Fla when spurrier hung it up.

The speculation is that Spurrier called Stoops and set this up prior to him resigning. They say spurrier is a devout family man and this brings his son back to FLA and this probably means spurrier takes either TB or Jags pro jobs.
 
I am glad UF moved quickly for I feel that such action will help maintain the Gators dominance over the Mutts both on the field and in obtaining quality prospects for their program in the SEC wars.

Ah,

mike and bob are brothers, and Steve Spurrier's son is the qb coach for Bob.
