Strange things are happenings: Dawgs reaction to game Saturday

instead of there being widespread mockery and derision, most of the posts I have seen are a collective sigh of relief. I think there was significant apprehension about the game from the Dawgnation. I guess it would have been a 100 year nightmare if we had knocked them out of their best season in 20 years.

Its also interesting to hear Dawgbyte say that Tech has way to much to offer student athletes to fall into the abyss. Could it be we are overreacting a bit?

Maybe the glass is not 3/4 empty, maybe its 1/4 full.

I think the dawgs saw an underprepared and underqualified haze of gnats threatening to destroy their season and humiliate them in front of the home folks and were ready to fight to the death to gain and preserve their victory. They wanted it bad and we were mostly shocked and confused at how much they did. They basically chased us out of their yard. Anybody that thinks the rivalry's dead is nuts!
