Has CPJ ever gone to the student cafeteria and jumped on a table or otherwise addressed the students about how much the team needs their support?

It seems this is not beneath other coaches, even those at big time programs. I'm just curious if anyone knows if he's ever done something like that.

I'm just amazed at the current lack of student support for their own football team.

Many of the students that Georgia Tech accepts these days really aren't into spectator sports including football. Many of them aren't interested in participating in team sports or athletics in general.

We aren't unique either, I remember a couple of years ago the UGA student section having significant voids in it during what I think was a SEC game.

Even at Alabama, 32% of student seats went unused by students between 2009 and 2012, when the Crimson Tide won three national championships. Alabama coach Nick Saban wrote a flattering letter last week in the student paper to recruit students back.

I'll bet if he was there to check clear bags and pass out Krispy Kremes the team would play better

You must be new here.

This isn’t his fault. Most current students are into nerd sports that involve frisbees or European sissy ball if they are into sports at all.

My brother is a freah uga grad (I know) and he said that the tech games had a far better student section than uga last year. He said the uga section sat the whole time and seemed to focus more on their phones than the game.

Could've been where he sat with me vs where he sat at uga. Uga was with the frat and tech was either with section 222 (where fights and shit happen) or a similarly rowdy area.

Well then screw it. Let’s go all in on sissy ball and win a national title

Yes he’s done a lot from the moment he stepped on campus. I believe the first day he was hired he walked out on the basketball court and yelled what’s the good word to an 80% empty arena during the P*** H***** era.

Now we can't say Paul Hewitt?

In a few years it'll be P*** J******.

I've sat (stood and been told to sit down) in every area of BDS, I wouldn't describe anything as rowdy.
