and I apoligize if it is covered in one of the several threads analyzing the game but they are too painful to read completely.

Did I not read in pre-season analysis that CPJ said Dykes was running the offense best in practice? I know part of that was to fire up Nesbitt and Shaw, but wouldn't he fit our offense better than Booker?

I thought we had a special package for Booker that is acknowledgement he can't run the real offense. Trying a whole game with him at QB seems to be tough. Even if he plays well individually the rest of the team doesn't have good practice on playing his style.

In short, isn't Dykes our real third string QB for the offense we are trying to develop?

What am I missing?

Dykes can't throw. Booker can't run. Neither can do what we want to do at QB. We have no real 3rd string quarterback.

OK, so since our offense is based on the success of the run over the pass which one does it make more sense to sacrifice?

The problem is both are too slow. If we had been playing anyone other than GW I bet we would have seen Tevin.
