Article to follow is a good one. Many things that should have been said but haven't been.

I've known about some of this but didn't want to be the one to make it public.

I admire the kid. I've felt like he played his heart out for us, but maybe didn't have all that we were used to - level of talent or Ralph on the sideline to develop it either.

Anyway - any guy on the field for any team is clearly the best that coach feels like he has, or he wouldn't be on the field, and regardless of the outcomes, I appreciate him laying it all on the field for us.

He took a lot of heat last year and he still this year has tried to take a leadership role with Ball and Carter. I appreciate that.

Much adversity - a few raw eggs - and no complaints or excuses. That's what a man does.

And Best of Luck to him tonight when he plays. The chances are very good he will play because Andrews WILL be coming after Ball with everything they got to knock him out. He is a good kid and was 2 plays away from leading us to 2 more victories against Wake and Clemson (FSU, we were still down 8). He has never made excuses or complained about his situation.

I just hope Gailey has Suggs ready to go because if Ball gets hurt, Suggs needs to be in there. If it is a blowout, Suggs needs to be in there.

In this case, it's the right word. Suggs is gutty playing football with a disease like that.

Great article on Suggs. It seems both he and his parents are taking it well. Sometimes when it appears you are losing, you may actually be winning the battle of life, if your life is in the hands of the Master.

It appears his priorities are in order.

Gnome,
You pegged it.He may very well be playing tonite and later. Some injuries don't heal quickly. Not only that but we may be lucky to have him.Ironic, huh?

As we close out the season, before the bowl game, with a 9 - 2 record my fondest hope is to see Greg & AJ named permanent Captains.

Since I question CG's puzzling decisions I am accused of being a negative jacket. Yet I have sat in the stands every game including those in years that there were none or only a few wins. Last year I posted a message on this board stating how much I admired AJ for holding his head up and playing hard although he wasn't a crown favorite. I am even more impressed watching him on the sidelines this year. He is always cheering his teammates on. He is a leader from the sideline. He has my utmost respect.

AJ my prayers are with you.
