"Last night in the Orange Bowl, the #3 ranked Hurricanes were caught in a BUZZ saw. Georgia Tech came in with a chip on their shoulder after receiving the news on Thursday about NCAA violations resulting in 2 years probation.

GT's defense shut down the offense of Miami when it counted most. With four big stops in the endzone which all resulted in field goals, Miami could onyl muster 12 points against a stingy Yellow Jacket defense.

The GT offense was not much better, but they were able to sustain two long drives for scores which resulted in the final score of 14-12.

Miami is now out of the NCAA title hunt while the yellow jackets greatly improved their bowl status.

Georgia Tech in a HUGE upset! That's what I'm talking about!

Guys you have to realize that this is the same guy growing up he would fight you over Tech, i can say he hasn't changed one bit which is good. We might be the only two around that can't bring ourselves to pick against Tech. I don't ever see it happening.
 
The events of the week are sad but the GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IS STILL MY SCHOOL. To pick GT as a loser goes against all my beliefs too so I say GO JACKETS AND MAKE SATURDAY'S GAME A "CAINE BURNER". Then go cry about it. I root for the Jackets with all I've got week-in and week-out. The fact that we've had so much going on this week and it seems like it's us versus everyone - just amplifies it.

And to seal the deal, how about an ensuing KO muffed return at the U 25 and we recover.
On the first play we fool everybody in the building with a "tackle eligible" pass to put the game out of reach. Jackets prevail 21-12.
