the CG bandwagon is FULL. A win will take care of that.

I agree.... Tenuta's game last year against NCState gives me more hope... the UNC 'D' really shut Rivers down... I feel that the Yellow Jacket 'D' is stronger than that UNC team... even with all the injuries we've sustained some younger guys that have accumulated experience this season are beginning to mature and they'll need to play big Saturday for us to win...

I'm much more positive this week than I was this time last week...
GO JACKETS!!! THW#4G!!!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">hold on now...I like the enthusiasm, but Tenuta had a MONSTER d-line last year--the holy grail of football (the DT that can command a double team and still pressure the QB) which had 2 (!) Top 6 picks in the NFL draft. Plus, UNC put a handful of other players in the NFL from the linebacker and secondary spots.

I like our defensive coaching so far and a lot of the younger guys look to have good futures (like Parker, Henderson, Hargrove...etc.) but GT's current defense is not near the same caliber as last year's UNC unit.

The Jacket defense shut down Rivers pretty good last year as well. I think we held them to one of their lowest yardage outputs of the season. That was without Daryl Smith and Recardo Wimbush for some time as well.

The difference in NCSU is the their o-line, WRs and RBs are all playing much better this year. I think if we limit their running game and stop the trick play, we have a chance to make it a good ball game.

We need to make plays tomorrow.
