I never knew this. The officiating bias is clear, IMO, and the officiating product is bad.

This is very, very bad for the conference.

We need an e-mail and YouTube campaign frmo the grassroots that will force the little girl to make changes.

He's also a former UNC QB under Bill Dooley. He was pretty good. Letting the rooster guard the hen house is a conference tradition. Never believe that John Clougherty might have favored Triangle area teams given that he was a Raleigh bank executive. I am sure banking relationships have never once clouded his judgment. The schoalrships given his sons to play baseball at NCSU also in no way jeapordized his objectivity. In fact, NCSU, Duke, and UNC fans love to say Old John was rough on them.

Many years ago, about '85, a Sunday baseball game at NCSU ended with one out and the bases loaded. Raleigh area ump Ron Sebastian called a man out at second on a very close play, then ruled the man going into second had interfered with the second baseman, called the runner at first out, game over. Worst call ever. Tying run erased. Later that year old Ron wore his NCSU jacket to the ACC tourney in Durham. I think that's about when I put two and two together.
