It's been over 20 years since I have tailgated at BDS and I need some help. I was planning on a small group, 3 or 4 of the family with a couple of chairs and now it is up to 9 and still growing, ie. me and my wife, a Tech son, a Dawg son (yeah, I still claim him), 2 Gators, a Terp, a Leprechaun, and an unknown. I am in the AMC lot and now need space for a small grill and 6 or 7 chairs.
1) Will I have any room behind/around my SUV for these people?
2) Can someone without an advance parking permit pay a parking fee and park there also?
3) How early to get a good place?
Any further advice will be appreciated.
Thanks guys.

I'll try.

1) Probably shouldn't be a problem.
2) Only people with season parking passes can park at AMC.
3) I would get there around 9ish to get a good spot.
4) Oh.. You didn't ask a number 4. Doh! ;)

Thanks Dean..but are u serious about 9?? My permit says the lot doesn't open until 4-6 hours before game time which will mean 2 PM at the earliest.

I would say that if you got there before noon, you would be able to get a decent spot. We will be there Friday night setting up and I've talked to several that are going to be camping out Fri too.
