I think we score some points on these guys. Talent notwithstanding, you don't just replace a guy like Venables. My money is on them stumbling a bit and giving us 17.

Conversely, I think the odds are good they made more improvements on offense than we made on defense. I'm thinking they hang 28 on us this year.

That's as High as I would've gone too. Risky in a 1st game. If it was week 3/4....Over all day

First game offenses often have some sputters and hiccups, unless you are the mighty Commodores in Hawaii. Last year was a 14-8 game. Both offenses think they are better. If they are two touchdowns better each we are looking at 50 points, just over the line. I doubt they are that improved. The under looks good. My prediction will be 27-17 Clemson. I will say they set the line at a good number.
