If you wanna have some ideas for how the Offense will look this year I think this game can give some insight on it
One thing though is sims is WAY more athletic than that Qb for tulane.

why not Tulane vs Oklahoma?

I like it. No slow developing plays

Judging from that final score, I wonder if Tulane's DC and Thacker exchanged defensive strategy secrets.
Lol but what did you actually think of the offensive scheme. Lots of missed opportunities tho.

OL started out playing well for them, but must've gotten tired because they started looking like ours towards the end. Certainly more varied play calling and looks than the past 3 years. Some players wide ass open because Chip had the perfect play call for the defense Ole Miss was in. That QB was terrible and so were the receivers and TE. All too familiar to see the RB be the primary receiving threat. I'm afraid that's how we'll look next year, but hopefully I'm wrong and our OL and receivers make huge leaps forward.

I cannot argue.. Only thing I will add is this. Not only is Sims more athletic and quicker. We do have better RBs. But, ultimately, it comes down to how well the O-line plays. If we continue to lose the battle of the LOS, expect a very long season and some lopsided games.

I think we've got to grasp our opportunities. What we badly need is a receiver / play-maker like Deandre Smelter to show up. I don't think we've got anyone like that currently on the team unless it is someone that didn't play last year. Maybe BlackStrain or Blackburn are the guys.

Leo Blackburn. Was a big blow when he hurt his knee last year. Hopefully he's full strength for 22.

Transfer EJ Jenkins is also a serious athlete and could make a big impact. 6-7, 245. Built like a TE but will play more like a big (huge) WR.

Whatever happened to Jimmies and Joes over X's and O's? I thought that was a mantra here.

I'm not seeing great stats on Jenkins. Agree with you on Blackburn.
