In the bonus, basically a flyer on a position change that might work out.
Tariq was a bonafide prospective 3rd rounder or better after his first year here. Great talent as hybrid corner/safety. Eventually bulked up and coached into ineffectiveness by virtue of soft d scheme. I’ve always like his talent and ability.
His chance to make pack will be special teams play but has an opportunity at 3rd or 4th safety, and one of the safety starters (Amos or savage) should be gone next year due to contract and cap. So he has opportunity. Just has to lay it all out to help in special teams, which have been inept for years in gb. New special teams coach should help.

Tariq got injured and had a lot of off field stuff when he put on all that weight.
But he still has great potential. Congrats to him.
