Looking forward to reading comments from those in attendance. I know it was dook, but not too bad considering no CJ and no Johnsons period after 1st posession.

Congrats to RB!

Congrats to TB you mean. I assume it was a typo because the "r" key is next to the "t" key.
Sorry if this sounds anal.

Nope, I meant congrats to Reggie. This is his team.
I am just excited that TB may not be as bad as we have been led to believe!

After listening today, and seeing that unc handled ncsu, I feel much better about the next 2 weeks.

TB looked GREAT! ALL his throws were on the money. I am much more confident of his ability to be THE man next year. Wow did he look good.

But this is RB's team to finish the season leading...

 I concur, he and RB had almost identical stats.

And WOW, when TB throws it away to avoid a sack, he makes sure it is AWAY.

Seriously, that was a heck of an athletic move...

That is the first time I have ever seen some standing ovation on a throw away.

I was impressed with Bennett's touch on the long balls. He strugled with a couple quick slants. But, those are so timing dependant. It was exciting to see him come in and take it home. It was good to get Reggie some rest. It was also good to see Evans get some nice runs behind the 2nd team Oline.

Bennett looked good, however they were not all on the money, the INT for example.

Overall he did a great job though.

The ball that was intercepted was thrown absolutely perfectly. The receiver did not finish the route and had to grab at it after he slowed down. TB was as sharp as could be today. Of course, he wasn't under a lot of pressure either, but he looked great.

THAT ball should have been caught. Wasn't his fault on that one.

From my seat, it looked like TB's interception was a throw forced to a well-covered receiver, in front of the receiver, and straight into the arms of a defender.

However, I will wait until I see the film Tuesday before being emphatic about it.

There can be no doubt that now that Taylor Bennett throws a better ball, more consistently than Reggie.

I hope that Reggie has a good game against the Dawgs, but unless he is prepared to use his running ability, he is not the best man for the job.

I hope to God that if we fall behind and have to go to the pass predominantly we will see more of TB. Just think if he had gotten to play 2-3 quarter during the course of the season.

On TB, just remember that Goose looked overall awful as a backup to Joe, but once he was the starter came on strong. I know Fridge had a lot to do with that, but there has to be something said for the confidence that comes with being the starter, and just working with the first team all the time in practice. Let's see what he can do at Notre Dame, maybe we'll get the same suprise as Reggie gave us when Auburn came into HGF@BDS in '03.
