TC - No chance to win it

Big difference between "no chance to win it" and "No Current Chance To Win It, But Deserves To Be In The Discussion"

Yeah, either way it is ridiculous. We all know the heisman is a hype contest. The media has so much influence on the pick. Last year after ND lost to Michigan ESPN basically rode the Troy Smith bandwagon until he won it. He wasn't even that great last year. The NFL draft really shows who the best players are.

TC will put up better numbers than all other RBs besides maybe DMAC. He will put up better numbers than Slaton against better defenses. All this while being a terrific blocker, leader, and role-model for young kids.

IF TC wants to win it and besides the obvious that Tech as to do really well for that to happen, Choice is going to have to start taking it the distance more often. He is a very efficient runner, but generally doesn't go all the way which is essential for those Heisman'ish highlight reels. yeah, I know, 70 yards against Samford and an impressive TD run against ND, but he's going to have to keep'em coming.

Has the GTAA begun any campaigning? It's never too early. Expecially with the increasing exposure to GT.

The sad thing is, at this point I think Slaton and McFadden are the only RBs that can win it. If TC puts up better numbers than them AND we go to the Orange Bowl I think they'll just pick a QB...

Like the undefeated talk, it's too early to think about anyway. I'm sure Tashard would tell you the same thing.

But if we can get him to the century mark vs. BCs run defense then he should bump up a tier on this guy's list.

You may be right, but it'll depend on how well the QBs do. If we go undefeated and get a bid to the NC game, due to other teams losing or whatever, then Choice might indeed get a nod at the Heisman over McFadden.

Our problem at Tech is that we don't have enough exposure with the Beano Babies to get north eastern votes.

If that happens, nothing else really matters. My liver will die, my bank account will be empty, and for the most part it will be the greatest day/month of my life. I suspect TC feels the same.

Right now I'm just hoping for a win on Saturday, but I've learned not to expect it...

Do we need to wait for them to start?

Tashard - My Choice for Heisman!

Hell, the leader in the clubhouse on Thursday is a freaking quarterback from Hawaii and the the only other real contenders come from a WVU team that should have been quashed at the Gator Bowl last year.

It's our own damn fault if he doesn't win...what with the intraweb and all.
