From what it says, it doesn't SOUND like we have the worst LBs in the ACC.

If they are basing this off of experience then I agree, but if they are basing this off of talent level at LB, I STRONGLY disagree. Last few years we've shown we've had as much talent at LB as any team in the conference.

I don't have a problem with that....

other than AT and Bowen, our LBs are a mystery. Sure we may have recruited well, but that is no guarantee they can get it done on Saturday. And we lost two really, really good ones.

However, at the end of the year, I think their opinion will be significantly different.

I agree, they are predicting based on past production. However, based on the talent we have and returning two guys who played a lot last year, to place us last is just silly. At worst those guys will be middle of the pack, at best they will be top 4. No way at all that we look back in December and say that our LB's just stunk it up this fall and were the worst in the conference.

In all seriousness I agree, we are a mystery b/c we are young and no proven depth. Really no one is proven period. But I guarantee, we won't be the worst in the ACC or coastal.

We seem to be a LB college.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a good D-Line AND LB squad?

In losing Hall, Wheeler, and Guyton over the last 2 years, we are now inexperienced at LB. However, there is enough talent and depth that LB does not concern me this year.

The defensive backs are more of a worry than LB. We have some good DBs, but not much depth at all.

Ive got faith in the young guys, they might not be best in the league, but JT recruited good LBs the whole time he was here and trained them pretty well in practice.

We've been known as having a great linebacking corp for quite a few years now and that helps with recruiting the position. They might not be top of the league this year, but by no means the bottom.
