Tech is the most "ACC"

What does that even mean?

Wouldn't it be easier just to say "my favorite team other than Maryland is ......."?

More like, which other team in the ACC pisses you off the least.

Look at GT vs Maryland...

Smaller school? Yes.
Powerhouse in football? No.
Geographically close? No.
Academically good? Yes.

It's pretty obvious why we won.

Did you guys read the rules to the game?

Everyone votes for one team they want to kick out of the ACC, and one team they want to keep in the ACC.

There is no stipulation for "why" you want them in or out...it can be anything.

We're doing well in the UNC one as well.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...don't really care. I just thought it was interesting.

So it's like Survivor only, with conference teams? Gee, maybe we can form an alliance with Wake Forest.
WTF?!?

Actually... this seems like it would be a good way to pick a presidential candidate...

I think it's actually pretty cool, personally, that Tech won. Most ACC fanbases perceive a certain set of qualities that distinguish the ACC from other conferences. Things like academics, integrity, balance between sports, etc.

Also, if Clemson fans were to put one of these together, we'd be out pretty quickly. I'd guess it would be either us or F$U out, first.
I think your missing the point. I'm pretty sure we would be extremely high on Clemson's list.

It's not about who you hate, it's who you think should be in or out of the ACC.

TechinItEasy, I guess it depends on how you look at it. I have the perception that Clemson has an inferiority complex in relation to our academics. We have overlapping schools (engineering & architecture), and our school has the more formidable reputation. This doesn't only apply to the south, but world-wide.

Now, from the athletics standpoint, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Clemson is our best rivalry and they would be the last off my list. The baseball rivalry is unparalleled. I would bet that it is up there with the best rivalries in college sports. The football rivalry has been great, as well.

With regards to academics, however, Clemson would be one of the first out, for me.

Point taken. I suppose that's why I thought it was so interesting in the first place...everyone has there own criteria.
