Tech Offense, or lack there of

"The Jackets are in a scoring slump that now extends several games back into last season. Tech scored 17 points in a loss to Virginia, 14 points in the win over Miami, 7 points in the loss to Georgia, 10 points in the Emerald Bowl disaster, and 10 points against Notre Dame. That means the Tech offense has not been able to score more than two touchdowns for five games"

Sad, very sad. Is it any wonder we have gone 1-4 in the past 5 games??!!?? Thank God for our D, without them we would be a 3-8 team. Our O has gotta turn it up about 50 notches!!!! Something needs to change, if we only score 17-21 points these next two games, I want someone's head on a platter!!
 
I believe it will come...especially as we get use to Nix's schemes...Things are going to change & points will be posted....Try to be patient & allow this year to unfold a little....Remain positive & expect good things...

Good point ramblinman, people need to be patient as the changes will not be instantaneous
 
I'm never too old to learn !!!!!!

I have a relative who teaches dance and she told me that Rashan Grant did a dance move on the option play that RB pitched out behind Grant. I told her that Grant just had to spin around and grab the ball, but she corrected me saying that Grant had performed an excellent "PIROECK". I just know you fella's will sleep better tonight learning this just as I did. I know I will.

AGREE. I am always positive, but being patient is getting tougher. I can remember not too many seasons ago when the offense would score 38, 44, 38, 35, 31, 24, and 31 points and we would LOSE. Heck, it was tough being patient back then too! :(
 
Ha! If a Ramblin' Wreck does a pirouette, it's a piroeck!

noun: (ballet) a rapid spin of the body (especially on the toes as in ballet)
verb: do a pirouette, usually as part of a dance
 
Our offense definitely sucks, but 3 of those 5 teams are pretty tough. And how exactly did we score 17 on UVA without scoring 17? This must be from the AJC. Only their reporting sucks this bad.

I originally thought it should be spelt "Pirowreck" since she spoke of it in a Tech game.

I still believe that we'll continue to see progress & more improvement as we move deeper into the season....Next week will be NO CAKEWALK facing Troy. They're playing people close/hard.....SO I hope we're ready for them next Saturday. ( I think we will see more progress/improvement on both sides of the ball. Especially as the players get used to shemes & pace of the games).....It would be great to be 2-1 heading into the ACC competition since we can't be 3-0.....but who knows maybe the close loss to ND will give the team the hunger it needs to continue to FIGHT for every bit of respect & that they will play with a HUNGER for a championship & earn RESPECT throughout the season & from all the "doubting GT fans out there" who seem to find fault within DISPITE the fact at the end of the day a "W" is on the scoreboard!
