Tech playbook analysis done by an FSU fan

In the defensive discussion, he included a Ga State play. Odd.

Definitely leads credence to the theory floating around that last year was glorified spring with different opponents.

Expect to see more variety of plays. We should be working with a near full playbook. Question is, does CDP have a big playbook.

We'll see if there is anything behind the Paterdude curtain...

Didn’t their coach come from Memphis? State was defending Memphis in that clip.

Pretty good breakdown. Interesting that he thinks we should have done more option-type stuff and not made as much of a transition, but he acknowledged that it might have been recruiting-related.

I hadn’t heard about or noticed the tendency to run the same play twice in a row. CPJ had some good luck with that (and so did Mark Richt...) but last year, apparently not so much.

Watching the highlights, we broke off some good plays and actually looked like a football team. We just couldn’t sustain a drive. Hopefully we can be a little more consistent this year.

Yeah that was it.

I think it was a function of limited audibles. Lots of teams call repeated plays, but check out if the defense lines up differently. I think we got stuck in a bad call a few times.

Surprisingly good and informative:

Impossible. We all know that Tech plays are drawn up using integrals and derivatives, which is why all athletes have to take Calculus. No way FSU figures that out.
