I use Comcast Xfinity as my cable system. Until a few days ago, I could use my remote control and type in "Georgia Tech" as one of my "Favorites." This meant that the TV would search out and record any program that involved "Georgia Tech." Of course, I know when the games are on, but I didn't always know when the coaches shows or old classic games or other things were on, so this came in very handy. Sunday, all the items on my "Favorites" list were wiped out. So, I tried typing them back in. But, I can no longer type in "Georgia Tech" as a "Favorite." I could type in "Georgia Bulldogs," "Texas Tech," or "Virginia Tech," but not "Georgia Tech." This made me really mad. So, I called Comcast Xfinity about it. I ended up talking to a man in the Philippines, who had never heard of Georgia Tech or any other American university or college football. I also sent Comcast Xfinity an e-mail, which did no good. This is just not inconvenient for me, it's bad for Tech. If there's anybody else who uses Comcast Xfinity, I'd be interested to know if you can type in "Georgia Tech" as a "Favorite" and what you think can be done to correct this problem. This is important to me, especially with the football season coming up so soon.
