Tech's Johnson: Recruiting of Stephen Hill got 'crazy'

There is an article in the AJC that mentions that the recruitment of Hill was "crazy," and things happened that probably should not have happened.

Anybody know what that is referring to?

This is pure, unadulterated speculation on my part but my take on the last minute waffling was some UGA boosters went rogue and tried to grease the wheels a little outside the auspices of the official UGA recruitment program.

Just imagine such a thing coming from a fine program, run by a man of such high standards and morals, Mark Richt.

Oh yea, he studied at F$U under Coach Bobby Bowden.

I'll say it again. Richt put the Hill request into the AJC specifically so that Dawgnation made a hard and painful stab at him. Anything could have occured but mostly I'm sure that lots of Dawg fans were constantly in his ear. I'm sure that wears on a 17 year old kid.
