Ted Roof is tired of our shit.

The defense definitely played so much better yesterday. More aggressive. Until the last 8 minutes which were agonizing.
No shit. What in the ever loving hell were we trying to accomplish with whatever that was?

It is called preventing a quick score. We forced them to run a bunch of plays and burn clock. Couldn't get the ball to the sidelines.
It didn't look like it prevented a quick score. They had two 80 ish yard drives with less than 5 minutes left. If they get the two point conversion and onside kick then oh shit.

The defense looked better in part because the offense did what it is supposed to do. We had clock draining drives that we haven't had all season against one of the better defenses in the ACC.

Our last score was at 10:08 in the fourth, VT's next drive resulted in a punt. They had 2 scoring drives with 8 minutes left. The first drive took 3:22, the second took 2:31. They needed 4 scoring drives. If we allowed big plays that scored quickly, then oh ****.

Until the end, when we went 3 & Out twice to give the chokies a chance to come back and make the score close.

We actually only had one drive that lasted more than 5 minutes and one that lasted 5 minutes that resulted in a FG. Oh, and we did put the ball on the ground again to help the chokies try to come back, at the beginning of the 3rd qtr.

The offense mostly did what it was supposed to do - score points after Leaky Roof's D forced a Turnover. It could've put the game away late in the 4th but failed to do so.

Simplified our defense to 2-3 calls because apparently our players are that dumb.

I agree, but our offense does that pretty much every week. I thought that was a pretty average performance for what our offense does- the difference was that our defense also stepped up and made some game changing plays. It was awesome to watch.

You suck.

Ok so how does this work? We give Ted shit then it piles up then he calls BS and we throttle somebody?

So how can we time it so that he empties the pile at the Ugag game? We don't have much time to hit critical mass considering it took a couple years for yesterday's reckoning so I figure we better start laying it on thick and heavy rite quick like.
