I don't get you. Most people are fans of teams/schools. You seem to be a fan of a person. Do you have a mancrush on him or something? And then you expect everyone around here to enjoy your adulation, neay, worship of someone who bolted our beloved program for "greener" pastures.

You need to start a GOL lovefest board and stay there. I'd be curious to see how many followers you get.

Actually, I honor and and am loyal to GOL for everything he did for GT when he was here and will always be happy when he succeeds. Were you even a fan when BL was here? GOL pulled us out of the abyss that was of GTAA making and put us back on the right track. We now have a respectable stadium again and good facilities. Don't know how far back in the past you are living, but if the wrong coach had followed BL our football program could have easily been snuffed out just 5 years after a MNC.

And any true fan of the game will tell you that Notre Dame is not "greener pastures".. Whether you love them or hate them (I hate them), they are the most storied tradition in college football. There are no coaching jobs better. Especially for an Irish Catholic. So for GOL to turn down that job would have been stranger than for him to accept it. Had he bolted for Alabama, I would probably still be angry.

So show a little integrity and class and gratitude and wish a former GT coach success in what he does and be pleased when he succeeds. and I do it here because this is a GT board, and GOL will always be a GT coach. Add me to your ignore list if you cant take it you ingrate.

Kruczek had that program going in the right direction but had one bad season if memory serves me right. O'leary to disappoint you was not very liked in the AA.
