Tell me more about 2008 probable QB Threet?

The stats are on gojackets. He has prototypical size (over 2 meters, 200lbs). Blew everyone away at the QB camps throwing the ball. We have a very respected camp and I believe we saw him first. Offers are kinda irrelevant for guys like this. Like any QB in the top 15, he could've gone almost anywhere by simply showing interest. I think he chose us because we recruited early and strongly, as well as he meshed with the team and the staff at camp/visits.

I understand that he will be here in the Spring. That makes it much, much more likely that any bobble by Bennett, Ingram, or the others could result in Threet starting fall 2007. If he doesn't, I believe it will be 2009 before he starts.

Why wait til spring, he probably finishes his diploma this month. That is plenty of time to practice with the team and start the GB! :wow:

Shouldn't his weight be measured in stones? What's up with his height measurement?

size, height, arm strenght, ect. What were his college choices? Thanks....

6-5, 230 and still getting bigger. He is decently mobile considering his size and has a good arm. The intangible is that he has a winner's personality and charisma. Other players are drawn to him (like donley and dwyer). He is incredibly competitive, yet jokes around on the field...running around patting players and coaches on the butt at the summer camp.

He truly loves the game. He reminds you of Philip Rivers in both form and field leadership.

He carries a 4.0 GPA and scored a 27 on the ACT...enrolls at GT the first week of January.

probaly saftey most think he could be an AA there, for most QB's comming out of HS it's a crap shoot.
The reason we got him was he gets a shot at QB.
It takes more than just the tools to play QB.
I hope he makes what ever position he wants, From what I've heard about him He's a great kid.

That is well put. About 75% of the Top 15 dual-threat QB's each year end up at other positions.

If he ends up the starting QB...then great for us and him. The good news for Nesbitt is he will start somewhere on the field by year two.
