It sounds to me like Collins did a far better job at Temple than this guy. The program tanked after he left. The asshats on here will predictably credit Matt Rhule for Collins' two seasons.

It's better to be a consistent loser than win at first then lose. If you consistently lose right from the start, then you can just talk about how big of a rebuild this is while everyone ignores the garbage coaching. Buys you more time for you to con everyone into your narrative.

Rhule is a great coach. But Collins still did very well by Temple standards and their fans were wrong about being happy he left.

End of the day, doesn’t have anything to do with Tech. Programs are very different and situation is totally different.
