Tenn from #3 in US to NO BOWL...not even small 1**

My gawd, UT just got beat by Vandy. I don't think anyone close to that program is worried about no bowl after this humiliation (in their minds).

Re Vandy, I am happy for Jay Cutler. What a great career for him! He also deserved a win at Florida this year. If he played for just about anyone else he would have been a legitimate coach Heisman Trophy candidate.

I will be interested to see if he is drafted ahead of Leinart.

He is a gamer....that is for sure. Too bad Vandy could not make a bowl for his senior year. Both Vandy and Tenn finish 5-6. SEC cannot fill all 8 bowl slots. SWEET!
 
Yes, but at least Vandy won what they consider their annual bowl game anyway. Congrats to one of the good guys.

Agreed, this win in front of 100k+, mostly in disturbing orange was better than any bowl for Vandy this year and most others.

Way to go Commode-Doors!
 
Too bad Vandy didn't TCOB vs. Mid Tenn St or Kentucky. They kinda got screwed in the Florida game on the celebration penality.

Vandy has a once in a lifetime season and still missed out on a bowl.
