Anything of substance to Tenns. recent push for Burnett? Or is he solid w/ GT. This AJC recruiting article is hinting that he might be considering Tenn.

This is also the weekend Georgia Tech hosts one of its top two remaining prospects; Californian Malachi Lewis will visit the Flats with his mom. Meanwhile, there may be reason to worry about Morgan Burnett’s commitment to the Yellow Jackets as Rivals.com reports Tennessee is making a big push for the North Clayton standout."

Okay here we go with the recruiting drama. This is the bad side of recruiting blue chippers, even when they commit to you, the drama will continue until they sign the LOI (letter of intent) in February.

Yes especially when the "enemy" is pushing the "well they don't even know who the HC is going to be" or "that programs is unstable....UT on the other hand we're a solid program & we're in the SEC!"

Atleast our HC is completely commited to our program for the 4+ years and can focus all his energy on fending off challenges from other programs. ;)

it's going to be interesting, although remember these type "teasing headlines" are what sell the subscriptions to the magazines....so it could be all hype as well....nothing is for certain until signing day...until then you have to hope for the best

Wouldn't suprise me in the least if the Vols were using Gailey's situation against us.

The question is does Morgan Burnett want to be on the same team as mental midgets such as DeMeathead Morley.

With the recruiting dead period ending on Monday and the Dolphin's situation looking like it could drag into next week at this point, I suspect that every school that recruited any of our committs is hitting the phones trying to make a push. We will probably see a lot more headlines like this one.

Yep, let the negative recruiting period begin! It's like freakin' politics.

This is why, although I follow recruiting to a small degree, I don't get too worked up with it until the recruit is signed, sealed and delivered, so to speak.

Yes I agree w/ the above. I would like to see this "lingering prospect" of Chan leaving/staying become clear to everyone. Things are heating up on the "recruiting scene" and HC will be making "drop in" visits on our verbals...There will be a lot of "gut checking" going on....Would like to see D Rad or Gailey step up & have another Press Release stating most likely scenerio.
