Tennessee - Georgia radio calls

After the Georgia TD: "Flags have come out for excessive celebration, but who cares at this point!" :bowrofl:

I was watching with my GT group and a Vol fan at DBA and there were a bunch of UGA fans sitting around us. They were going nuts but when me and the UT kid saw the flag we pretty much simultaneously said "that's a pretty big flag." Hell UT was only a handful yards out of FG range when they decided to toss it up. That flag probably bumped the probability for UGA to win in regulation from 99% down to 95% which is pretty damn significant for one dumbass decision. Gotta think they'll get to their own 35 yard line at a minimum but likely closer to the 40 (assuming they don't break one). Then just 20-25 yards needed to get to FG range. Probably have to run a hook and ladder without that penalty.

Apparently it was some defender who didn't have his helmet on ran onto the field to celebrate.

How many games has UGA lost recently where they led with less than a minute left and their opponent on their own half of the field?

2013: Led @Auburn 38-37 with 36 seconds left - Auburn ball at their own 26, 4th and 18....lost 38-43
2014: Led GT 24-21 with 18 seconds left - kicking off....lost 24-30 in OT
2016: Led Tennessee 31-28 with 10 seconds left - kicking off....lost 31-34

Any others? Lack of discipline translating to the field. Damn and all rivalry games too.

Do they always immediately turn of the score boards when they lose? Bunch of little bitches.
I guess it's part of their denial. If it ain't on the scoreboard, it didn't happen. For example, the play-by-play guy didn't know the final score.

We got spanked again by a man with no eyebrows!

I'll bet their chances to lose were sub 1% in all three of those instances. Things that should happen to a team about 5 out of 1000 times have happened to UGA 3 times in the last 50 or so. Lol.

^ That graphic must have been hand drawn. UT was losing until they had the sack/fumble/TD with 2:55 left. I doubt their win probability would have climbed above 80% while they were still losing. And that dip/spike at the end would not be rounded - it would be a skinny stalactite. Looks more like the timeline should be from 6 minutes left to the end of the game. But your point still stands.

Am I just dreaming, or did they really play the Munson "hobnail boot" call on TV just before Tennessee scored?
