He's just as successful a coordinator as they are, plus he already knows what's expected of the more difficult job as HC at Tech, regarding academics / etc, plus it's less strain because no new systems would have to be installed, plus he already has a good relationship with both our existing players and our recruits.

Tenuta > Muschamp
Tenuta > Strong
Tenuta > Any other coordinator we interview

We don't know any of that beej. Just because someone is a good coordinator doesn't mean they're HC material. JT may have peaked, others may still be working their way to the top. Why is it that nationally guys like Muschamp, Strong, Fisher are all looked at as up and comers who will be HCs somewhere and JT is looked at as a great coordinator? There's more than how well you coach your side of the ball involved.
 
This is why we need to be interviewing offensive coaches!!! And I don't want them to have the initials RN!!!

I know this has been talked about but I believe that Paul Johnson and Neuheisel will be coming in for formal interviews over the next couple of days. That is what i'm hearing. Hatcher might've already interviewed? I am not sure. They are playing that one close to the vest.
