He said there should be a curse-off between him and BMFY! (aka Muschamp) to determine who should be the next coach.

I went to the spring game with my brother in law who was in town visiting (first year college kid, big uga fan, but likes tech as well). He kept commenting on the strange guy who was pacing down in the endzone with a headset on screaming. He was amazed that it was JT...

He said several things.

(1) He put to rest the rumor that he does not want the job. I'm paraphrasing, but he said he'd like a shot at the "big chair."

(2) Again paraphrasing, but he said he would not have a problem working with the media, administration, and alumni.

(3) He is coaching to win the bowl, not preview next season. He said he would evaluate the younger guys and get them plenty of practice reps but he would start the guys that have started all season.

(4) He stated that his goals would be to win the conference, and "obviously, to beat [his] in-state rival"

All in all a pretty good showing. I still want Hatcher but his stock went up in my eyes. If he doesn't get the gig I really hope he stays.
