Lewis: 12/29; 122 yds (10.2/4.2) 1 TD; 0 int
Riley: 3 rec; 74 yds (24.7) 1 TD; long of 64 yds
I admit that this is in many ways a moronic thing to consider, but consider it anyway: Other than the 64 yard pass which went for a TD in the 2d quarter, Lewis is 11/28 for 58 yards and Riley 2 recs for 10 yards.
Duke's other 2 touchdowns were a fumble recovery returned for a TD in the first quarter and a one-play drive that began on our eleven yard line in the 3rd.
Duke had 24 yards on 28 carries rushing.
One Lewis-to-Riley play was just about HALF of their offense.
(Yet somehow, as I remember, Chan and Bennett [11/23; 218; TD, INT] had me convinced during the 2d quarter of that game that we were going to lose...)
[pops a beer] This one's for you, Tashard!
