Not saying it's over, but OSU is physically whipping the Ish.
I thought Weiss with a month to prep would be too much.
As I write this, ND is moving it. Who knows!

Go you mountain people!!

I can't do it either...particularly bowl games which sometimes never play out like they would during the regular season because of player emotions.

I would have screwed up big on South Carolina/Missouri, Michigan/Nebraska, Oregon/Oklahoma...and I sure as heck would have not picked a spread like that for the Miami/LSU game...and of course the game that I am not going to mention again.

yes, but Tressel has a great bowl record since he's been at OSU...and ND has been giving up quite a few points during the season and its clear they didn't have enough athletes in the defensive backfield to keep up with those OSU WRs.

[/ QUOTE ]Perhaps if ND would've played a real schedule, they'd have been prepared for Ohio ST.

They played noone with a defense & their high point of the season was a moral victory.

ND often loses in bowl games because they're always so highly overrated by the pollsters going in.

Thank you. Is it just me or is NDs schedule overrated every year? They play a lower level Big 10 schedule as far as I can tell. They play USC, Mich, Purdue and Mich State. In any given year that's 2 tough games. Their big game with Navy gets all kinds of hype every year but I think ND has won 35 years in a row or something equally ridiculous.

I'm not saying they won't be favored or that they aren't a very good team, but I'm not afraid of playing them next year at all.

the played a terrific game against USC, but other than that I was never that impressed with ND this year. Their best win was over the weakest team Michigan had fielded in nearly 20 years.

However, some more athletes on the defensive side of the ball and Weis might have Notre Dame winning bowl games some time this century /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hugelaugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hugelaugh.gif
