First, I asked that we run a toss sweep. You put it in the playbook for Samford. Then I ask for the full back hand off. I got to see it 5 or 6 times Saturday.

Now, if I may ask for one or play, I would like to see a flea-flicker. That sir, would be awesome.

Nix used a flea flicker last year vs VT. We got sacked.

We ran a flea flicker already this year, Thomas was pressured and badly underthrew JJ, who could have walked into the end zone on a decent throw.

I believe the QB always throws the ball on a flea flicker. That was just a WR pass.

I notice we aren't using the wildcat formation at all. It stopped working because they knew TC wasn't a threat to throw.

Well, what we're doing with Nesbitt is effectively the wildcat.

I guess if you want to be more specific it's more of a Tebow type thing where 90% of the time he's going to run the draw but every once in awhile he'll throw.

the one with Bebe was a double pass, not a flea flicker.

Our quarterback does not have the necessary footwork for a flea flicker.

LOL...nor did Phil Simms but he seemed to execute for the NYG back in the day ok.

Footwork is not a key for the flee flicker...OL protection is.

The generally accepted definition of a flea flicker is a reverse that gets tossed back to the QB before it develops, who then throws down field.

I wouldn't be surprised if we had one in our offensive package this year. We've already seen the reverse.

There are some flea flickers where the running back just turns and laterals the ball back to the QB. Not much footwork there for the QB.

I gave a source for my definition, WTF is yours?

That's the first play I ever saw called a "flea flicker", and it was so called by Bear Bryant, so contradict that only if you want to be haunted by whiskey demons from hell.

Since then the definition seems to have expanded to the one I quoted below. It is used to describe halfback passes, double passes, etc. indiscriminately.

If you disagree, quote a source or STFU.

This is the Super Techmo Bowl version of the flea-flicker. It looks exactly like running the off tackle. This is the version I want to see.

I thought this was a flea flicker. The idea is that is that it looks like a run play up the middle and then you just toss it back to the QB who is standing around.
