Waller began abusing oxycodone at 15 years old and drinking alcohol at 16 years old.
He was suspended for three games at Georgia Tech for violating team rules, according to the school.

On June 30, 2017, Waller was suspended for one year without pay for again violating the substance-abuse policy.
His oxycodone addiction escalated to the point that he was eventually spending $100 per day on pills. And he began using "a lot of" cocaine. On August 11, 2017, in Maryland, he overdosed on pills while sitting in his parked Jeep.
Anyway, you telling me he has (supposedly) "overcome quite a bit" might provide an explanation for how he became a jackass. But it doesn't change what he is. And dissing Georgia Tech yet again tonight on national TV . . .
