Despite FSU winning the conference again, it is clear that every team in the conference except UNC and Clemson has shown improvement over the year and over the last few years. GT is rebuilding a little this year but still respectable in and out of conference. Clemson and UNC may have coaching changes in store at the end of the year. FSU's dominance is OVER. Next year you will see a VERY tough ACC across the board. I don't see this changing any time soon. UVA, Maryland, NCST, GT, WF, and of course FSU will be tough and Duke is actually improving. Clemson will always be competitive. UNC has a young team that will be better next year also. The ACC has finally arrived. Thoughts?

If you think about the fact we:
1) lost 90% of our offense in Godsey, Burns, and Campbell
2) lost 100% of our pass rush in Gathers and Rogers
3) complete change of coaching staff
4) off-field distractions
5) tremendous injuries to key areas
6) unfounded negative criticism from "fans"
7) exceeded expectations of most pre-season unbiased "experts"

....and we have still matched last seasons' regular season victory number (7) with one left to play.

Yes...Duke returns 21 of 22 starters and will be better.
Virginia is tremendously young and will be MUCH better.
Don't know about NCState without Rivers...but will do more running with McClendon.
F$U is F$U...not as dominant...but powerful
If Wake holds on to Grobe they will get better
Friedgen keeps Maryland moving without the talent being there.
...they all appear to be in good shape except for North Carolina...I do not see much happening there.
