Va Tech, NC State, and UVA - all what I would call bad losses & Maryland did not look promising against Delaware. Clemson really needs to step it up tonight.

On the flip side, I'm encouraged about our chances to make a bowl game.

I am hoping Clemson makes the game at least respectible. VT got BEAT and not a fluke loss, and UVA looked like a Div I-AA team against USC
 
Both of Clemson's lines look God awful.....you can have great skill players, but if you don't have the big uglies up front it don't mean sh**!!!!!!!!!
 
Clemson losing by 17 and can't stop anything up the middle.

Maryland eeked out a win over I-AA Delaware 14-7.

Virginia Tech got dominated by East Carolina and has a completely inept offense that is offensive to watch.

North Carolina is tied 14-14 with I-AA McNeese State at the half.

Duke is tied 7-7 with I-AA James Madison in the 2nd Quarter.

Virginia didn't even belong on the same field as Southern Cal ... 52-7.

Boston College is struggling to break away from Kent State 14-0 in the 3rd Quarter.

NC State got a half dozen turnovers and still couldn't score or even prevent a blowout to a middle of the road SEC team in South Carolina 34-0.

Miami, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, and Florida State are the only teams that haven't embarrised the ACC so far in WEEK ONE. And FSU hasn't even played yet!!!
 
If the season continues like it just started, they should seriously consider suspending the ACC from the BCS. The ACC looks like the PAC-10 did a few years ago. It isn't like this is the first year the ACC has stunk.
 
Clemson looks pathetic right now. Surely this must be TB's last season; it's truly mind-boggling how Clemson fans have put up with him for so long.

They showed a clip of TB a few minutes ago. He basically said if the players play with heart they will do good, he looked completely dejected. Before the game!
 
I like the one game at a time approach. If we can split BC/VT, who knows what could happen...

One thing that is certain, is that we sure as hell won't be getting outcoached by anyone in this league.

Players need to worry about one game at a time. Fans can do whatever the hell we want.
 
Don't sleep on F$U. Most SR team in the ACC and Trickett has had over a full season to correct the OL problems.

Wake may be their best competition.

Clemson will probably improve as the season goes on (if their totally revamped OL improves).

Don't really see anyone from our division (including us) being a threat.
