Place bets now on how boring it'll be and how empty the stadium will be. It starts in a few minutes...

So boring I don't feel compelled to change from the Army-Navy game and I'd probably rather watch Alabama-Florida warm up than VT-BC pillow fight again.

But yeah, I'm real excited.

Its going to suck and the ACC is really pissed about the matchup.

I just flipped over from the Army/Navy game for a minute. It's laughable how ABC is tryinng to make it sound like an awesome and extreme matchup. MAN VT AND BC ARE SO EXTREME THEY SURVIVED THE ACC GAUNTLET. LOL what a joke.

Front-row endzone was almost entirely empty when it was in the background as BC ran out. Holy crap they just panned out as VT ran onto the field and almost all of the seats in view (corner, by VT's band) were empty. This is embarassing.

Hey dems, this is flat-out embarassing playing this game in Tampa.

Did Tampa's Chamber of Commerce put up a nice bid or something? I really don't know how it works but I'd like to know.

Even though these 2 teams aren't the best match-up...playing this game in Charlotte would have DOUBLED the attendance, imo.

Is the ACCCG in Charlotte next year? We need to get the f*** out of Tampa. Only Tampa could screw up an ACC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Swofford should tell his refs not to bone us with bad calls then. The ACC can only blame itself and its piss poor officiating for this match up. VPISU has gotten every call this season they possibly could. BC earned this though.

Maybe Swofford can help out FSU by giving Auburn a couple more dollars to throw at Jimbo Fisher.

No matter who plays in Charlotte in 2010-2011...I'm thinking about going just to show my support to make that move permanent.

We need to establish some semblence of tradition...u don't do that by moving the championship game around every other year.

Swofford is such a dumb ass. GOD, I hate his guts!

Yea. Very impressive. It looks like on NCAA 2009 when I'm beating an FCS team 100-0. About the same attendance.

Rather than having cities pre-lock, it needs to float geographically based on who's in it. Charlotte may not make sense if it wound up being F$U / Thug U (perish the thought), which was largely the speculation in the first place, hence Tampax.

Wow i'm kinda glad we r not in the acccg now because thats just embarrasing.

Charlotte will be better, Atlanta is still an option, at one time the ACC was hoping to take the Dome away from SEC.

Right now its just pathetic.

dems, don't you think we should keep it permanent once it goes over well in Charlotte?

What factors into the decision-making here?

Anyone who paid for a ticket is feeling like a sucker. They were giving them away for free before the game.

They will look at how well tickets are sold and the reception from the community. I bet it stays in Charlotte for a while. Central location in the middle of ACC country, it makes perfect sense.

This might be bad, but imagine how the Orange Bowl will be if BC wins. Cincinatti vs. BC in Miami? That will be an even bigger embarrassment than this. There might be more people there, but it will be worse because it's a big game in primetime with no competing games on at the same time.

VPISU was Swofford's pre-ordained team to get into the ACCCG, that is why both us and UNC were robbed of a victory in the game against them. Apparently, VPI travels really well, as is proved in this CG and last year's CG (where they traveled worse than us).
