No need to back UCF's bullshit national title claim. I mean, öööö those guys. They had one chance to play a P5 team in the regular season and backed out because they're too dumb to read a weather forecast. Category 3 conditions in Orlando, my ass. All that being said, they should've gotten an invite to the playoffs and have every right to claim a national title if a single respectable publication ranked them accordingly. None have, so they're just full of shit. If they weren't full of it, then their coach wouldn't be leaving for another school where he has a legitimate chance to win one.

Totally with you in spirit, but FWIW UCF did crush Maryland this year. Or maybe Maryland has sucked for so long they're no longer considered P5?

Of all the bogus "claimed" national titles, theirs may be the most bogus in history. They even got their governor and legislature to declare it. Pretty embarrassing for FSU, UF, and the U, honestly.

And yes, I still would've been reluctantly on board with it had the dwags won. lol

Btw, final AP poll is out. UCF gets 4 first place votes to finish 6th.

Eh. Most everyone sees the UCF thing for what it is.....trolling taken to a level of total war.

It's the Auburn/Bama/UGA situation that honestly gives them an argument. Undefeated and beat the team that was 2-1 against the two teams in the MNC game. Obviously they wouldn't have won more then 8 or 9 games in a real conference, but until a proper playoff is created this scenario gives them about as legit a resume as you'll get from a non-P5.
 
Its smart on UCFs part. They will never be top 4 so this is a effort to push for 8 teams. And Im ok with that bc i think an 8 team playoff helps GT
 
I support it because they have a better claim to it than at least 4 of bamas and fallout from it brings me happiness.
 
Also, if ucf are national champions, we get a cut since we're the only team on their schedule that they didn't beat
