Just something for fun. The best player on offense: jonathan dwyer deffense: this is tough its hard not to say vance walker but im going morgan burnett. Best freshman coming in: marcus wright. I think he is a stud. Player with the most potential: josh nesbitt just give him awhile guys. He will be great. Player most likely to be a star in the nfl: once again morgan burnett. Most underrated player:vance walker for me because nobody knows about him except for tech fan. When he is one of our best player. What do you guys think?

Best offensive player: Jonathan Dwyer. Can run inside, can run outside, takes the hit, can catch...the only question right now is ball security. He was good last year, but now he gets hit harder, and he's lost a fumble in each scrimmage (granted, in the second one he got knocked the hell out).
Best Defensive player: Vance Walker. Going to be a beast in the middle. Quick, strong, and is now a legit 300+ pounder. (I thought about saying Morgan Burnett or MJ, but I think Vance is going to be ridiculous)
Best Freshman: Marcus Wright. His production in high school demands attention, and his moves are stellar. Might redshirt though, since we are somewhat deep at A-Back. (If not Wright, I'd go with on of the DBs...probably Leslie or Taylor)
Breakout player: Jamaal Evans. He is going to be something special in this offense. The run on T-Day was a taste.
Most underrated player: Brad Jefferson. Has a nose for the ball and can flat out RUN. He and Burnett are going to be something special for the next few years.

Best Frosh coming in: I just can't say. Well, ok, since you're freaking out about it - Uzzi or McRae (Washington is my darkhorse)
Most Potential Improvement: Definitely agree on Nesbitt
Most Underrated: Bret White, long snapper, or Darryl Richard

Vance Walker may be the best DT in the ACC for 2008. He is so underrated by Tech fans but he is a big pain in the rear to opposing OL coaches.

Best O player-JD ya'llBest D- Morgan... He is always around the ball. Best DB prospect since Willie Clay Best frosh- Watson. He ran in a TO offense in HS and is IMO the perfect B-back. Think about the Bus. I think this kid will get some PT.Best frosh sleeper- Tevin Washington. Watch this kids highlight film and you'll scratch you head and wonder how he isn't talked about.Most improved-Michael Johnson...I think he steps up from pure pass-rusher to a balanced killing machine. He got eaten alive against UGA and Fresno St. at the point of attack and from what I've seen, he has bulked up and is playing the run much better.Most underrated- Greg Smith. His versatility and elusiveness with the ball in his hands will wreak havoc this fall. Cover him with a DB and he slips the tackle on the pitch. Cover him with a LB and he slips behind him for a long TD pass.Next PJ Daniels- Cone or Dykes. Both are bad asses with a chip on their shoulder

Offense: Nesbit. Once he masters this offense he's could have the ability to take over games like we haven't seen since Joe.
Defense: Walker. Dude has been an impact player from when he stepped on campus and improved every year since. I don't see any reason why he won't continue to get better and dominate.
Freshman: I hope they all redshirt and we won't know for another year
Breakout: AT Barnes. Somebody is going to have to lead the team in tackles. He's big and athletic enough to do it.
Future NFL Star: Burnett. He's a stud.
Underrated: Jahi W-D. Provides some much needed stability and experience in the secondary. He's not the prospect that the other guys are, but you know what to expect from him and that's needed.
