At least on paper. Scoring massive amounts of points on each other does not impress me at all.

The big 12 plays the 2nd least amount of out of conference games against BCS opponents and not only that, but those opponents are the worst BCS opponents any league faces. On top of that the Big 12 is 7-8 against these teams.
Let's look at the OOC opponents for the Big-12's top 25 teams so far...
Texas
Florida Atlantic
UTEP
Rice
Arkansas (BCS)
This is schedule pussification at its finest. Texas' only BCS win is against a crappy Arkansas team.
Oklahoma
Chattanooga
Cincinnati (BCS)
Washington (BCS)
TCU
This is actually a decent schedule with @Washington and TCU. Respect to the Sooners.
Oklahoma State
Washington State (BCS)
Houston
Missouri State
Troy
Their lone BCS opponent happens to be the crappiest BCS team in the nation. Embarrassing schedule.
Texas Tech
Eastern Washington
Nevada
SMU
Massachusetts
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. TTU still has not played a decent team yet 7 games into the season.
Missouri
Illinois (BCS)
Southeast Missouri State
Nevada
Buffalo
Way to eek out a win against an overrated Illinois team. Missouri plays this game every year so it shouldn't even count when comparing scheduling. Pathetic. Oh, and get a defense.
Kansas
Florida International
Louisiana Tech
South Florida (BCS)
Sam Houston State
This just proves pollsters are morons. There is no way Kansas should be ranked. They lost their only decent OOC game and they got blown out by the Sooners. Their best win is over a 4-3 Colorado team. This team joins Auburn in the category "Teams with two losses that suck ass, but manage to stay in the polls."
The Big 12 is in this bubble. They basically only play each other so there's no good way to tell how good they are. Every other conference has had a marquee matchup.
ACC/SEC - Clemson/Bama
Big 10/Pac 10 - OSU/USC
The Big East has had a couple, but the Big East is horrible.
